On August 9, 2023, Bryan Read, Director of the International Innovation and Industry Liaison Office of Wellington Institute of Technology, and Shaun Li, the International Strategic Consultant of Pacific Education Group (PEAL), came to our school for exchange and visit. Yang Yunfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of our University, and heads of departments of the School of Rail Transit, the School of Traffic Information, and the School of Continuing Education and International Exchange held a forum with the guests. The forum was hosted by Vice Principle Wang Weiqun.

Yang Yunfeng welcomed the guests. He introduced the history of our school, the size of students, professional characteristics and the development of international exchanges, and put forward the vision of cooperation with the National University of Technology of New Zealand, hoping to take this opportunity to achieve cooperation and exchange between the two universities, and the two sides can work together for mutual benefit and win-win.

Bryan Read expressed his sincere gratitude to our school for the reception. He introduced the basic information of Vitellia Institute of Technology and Wellington Institute of Technology. He said that the college hopes that the cooperation between the two sides in all aspects and fields will continue to develop. During the meeting, the two sides communicated on carrying out short-term exchanges of teachers, improving students' academic qualifications, academic exchanges and cooperation, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

After the forum, the guests visited the training room of the School of Traffic Information and the School of Rail Transit.

According to the information that Vitellia Institute of Technology and Wellington Institute of Technology are national institutions of higher learning affiliated to the New Zealand government, and are New Zealand universities recognized by the Ministry of Education of our country.
